I just bought an SG5 Skycaddy after owning an SG4 and I love this GPS colour. It's especially handy on fields I've never played on, and that's for sure. I use it most when approaching a hazard and it helps me decide if I can negotiate an obstacle or just stop. That saves 4-5 strokes per game in my opinion. Accessories (car charger, mount, etc.) can be expensive, but you can get great deals online. You must purchase a minimum $29.95 annual subscription that only offers courses for your state. For about $20 you can get all US courses. One of my minor complaints is that they will provide a beta version of the base OS for another $15-20 and I think it should be free (it also offers an advanced course overview and allows you to download up to 20 courses to your GPS (usually you can only download 10 courses at a time)). With Skycaddy releasing a new, more expensive model, you can get the SG5 at a great price. I was able to get mine for $200 through Revain and I think it's a great buy! Trying to get phone support can be difficult, but you can email them and they will respond in about a day. This may test your patience, but many of my friends have managed to get their systems up and running.
