First of all, I should say that I almost never do reviews. but I just can't help myself in this case. It amazes me that people rate her so highly. I wonder what the heck people use them for. I can only assume that the people who rate this product so highly don't cook much, especially not bake. The people who designed these things were obsessed with quality and completely forgot their purpose in the kitchen. While their build quality is top-notch, they're practically useless given their purpose of scraping batter or sauce out of bowls, pots, or pans. rubber scraper and was able to scrape every last drop of batter out of the bowl. With these it is impossible. The rubber material is hard so it never sticks to the bowl no matter how much pressure I apply. After testing it several times, I found that it doesn't do any better at removing cloudiness from a bowl than a metal spoon. In fact, the handle flexes under pressure long before the head begins to conform to the bowl's contours. My old heat resistant rubber spatula (from the 90's) never had this problem. A little pressure and the rubber adapts 100% to the contours of the bowl. Something I always took for granted until my cat chewed it up and I had to find a replacement (and the hunt continues to this day). Before that, it never occurred to me that finding a good heatproof spatula would be so difficult in this modern, nonsensical culture. So I have to ask again: if a rubber spatula can't remove bits of batter or sauce from a plate - WHAT'S IT GOOD? To me, designing these ridiculously stiff spatulas is like designing an iron lifeline. Good build quality means nothing if it defeats the purpose of the item.
