This is an excellent quality children's playmat that met all my expectations. The contrasting colors are very pleasant and I like that they have been specially chosen for the development of vision. The rug is large and has very nice padding - I have a floor mat where I use it but with the padding I would use it comfortably for lying prone on a tile or wood floor. There is also a good selection of toys (some are detachable) that can be moved. I love that the big star includes a baby mirror, as does one of the three hanging toys - all my kids enjoyed the mirror toys. There are many other interesting things on this playmat (including folds and an attached plastic rattle). Finally, it's easy and quick to fold and store away when I'm not using it, and it comes in a nice gift box.
