Heats up quickly and provides rapid relief.

I was skeptical regarding the whole infrared thing but it seems to heat more efficiently and deeply than a regular coil heat pad. It definitely provides relief from aching muscles and joints.

The heating pad can be used in conjunction with medication for added pain relief

May not be effective for those with conditions that require ice therapy rather than heat
