I've been using an electric toothbrush for about ten years and will never go back to a regular toothbrush. It has worked wonders for my gums and after every cleaning I feel like I just walked out of the dentist. I bought Oral B Pro 3000 after my Oral B Triumph died after 10 years of use. The 3000 doesn't have the screen or other settings that my Triumph had, but I didn't use them anyway. What was important to me was that it was Oral B and it pulsed at 30 seconds telling me when to move on to the next quadrant. I prefer the Oral B Sonicare because of the Braun motor (which lasted 10 years in my Triumph) and the lower cost of replacement ear tips (that adds up over the years). I thought about getting a 5000 with extra settings and Bluetooth, but I realized I really don't need those things. The 3000 is thinner and lighter than my original Triumph. It comes with a small storage case for the attachments, which is handy especially when it's used by multiple people. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a travel case like my Triumph. When I bought my 3000 there was an immediate $20 coupon that made me want to take the offer right away. Overall I am very satisfied given my needs and the price of the toothbrush.
