Works well when you need bright light. In the adult bedroom. it's too bright.
I think it's great for hallway lighting with low sockets. You can turn their heads slightly to direct the light where you want, which is great. They are small and only cover one outlet while leaving the other usable. Although the light is too bright for me. I bought this for my bedroom so the dog can walk without bumping into the furniture. But it's too bright and kept us up at night. The white light was also loud. I found another style of red light that is much better and doesn't disturb sleep at all. I think this is great for a hallway or even a child's room where you go often and need enough light to move around safely. They work well for these purposes.
