It is wrinkled in curved areas and may peel off

I bought this as a gift. It comes in a beautiful gift box. However, the quality is not very good. It was bent and kept in a gift box. When I took the strap out of the box and straightened it, I found that the curved sections were crumpled and could be pulled off. It cannot be gifted as the belt tears off so easily.
