Review on πŸ“± Enhanced Protection: Encased Moto G Power 2020 Belt Clip Case (Thin Armor) – Slim Grip Cover with Holster (Black) by Robert Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Three months, no complaints.

I was concerned about the size of the spring loaded latch that holds the phone in the holster but no issues so far. My first concern was that the latch would catch on something and drop the phone or get in the way while editing. This didn't help either. The case works well alone (no holster) for those times when you don't need to be O'l Fart with a clip on your phone. But then you grow old without taking care of him, so to hell with them. The only downside to this device is that the phone doesn't easily fit into the holster screen. My Encased case for my Moto X4 was holstered on the back, which was handy at times. This cover needs to be pushed under the latch, but that's not convenient. It is no problem for me. This case holds up the phone screen. Insert the phone into the two hooks at the bottom of the holster and lean the phone against the latch. The latch holds the phone far enough for an average man's hands to reach the fingerprint scanner. Convenient for phone use. I have no idea about the wire shackle under the holster clip. The best I can say about the wire bail is that I had to see if he had one. This is my second Encased case. My first was for Moto x4 (miss this phone). The holster for my x4 was minimal, which I liked. This holster for Moto G is not that minimal which is good. What killed the X4 was the really thin and hard case, which I kept dropping. Cut it, bend over and watch the phone fall to the ground. operator error. Kill two batteries. The Moto G's case is thicker than the x4, but still thinner than the non-holstered case and made of a softer material.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
