The whole point of getting a wireless adapter was to reduce the hassle of running an Ethernet cable from one room to another. Due to TiVo's poor tech, you have to plug your new TiVo box into an ethernet port so you can use a wireless adapter, which is really stupid considering you wouldn't need a wireless adapter if you had one Ethernet port available. First. I've installed several TiVo boxes in the past and they've all been a pain in the ass with far too many inconsistencies. After all this hassle and finally getting it up and running it now tells me the internet speed is slowing down which I know is a lie because the smart tv in the same room streams 4k movies and tv with no issues. Burnt out a whole day just to start over and run the ethernet cable, waste of time.
