Gap between "jewellery "

"jewellery" is not quite around the belt. There is a 6.5 inch gap between the jewels and the first clasp on the buckle. When I buckle it up, there's a 4.5-inch bling-free gap. It doesn't look nice at all! I have several "cheap" belts from different brands, none have this gap. Bricks usually start where the slab will rest due to deflection at the first hole. Even when fastening, there is still a gap at the last hole.
