Filter is sold as 20 x 30 x 1 but is not. The actual size is indicated in lowercase on the filter. It is very important. If you place this filter on the side of the opening provided for this purpose, a gap is created at the top through which a lot of air can flow unfiltered. There's no point in buying a quality filter if it doesn't fit properly and allow unfiltered air to circulate freely into your home. I would give 1 star and return them but this is an easy fix. I just cut a long piece of cardboard from the box it came in, fold it up and lay it on the floor. This boosts the filter high enough to hide the gap, but I don't like being fooled. The photo shows the previous filter, which is actually 30 feet tall, versus this one for comparison. Adjust the filter to the correct size or stop lying about the size!
