Review on Norpro 2152 Stainless Steel 4" KRONA Double Mesh Strainer - Efficient Kitchen Tool for Fine Filtering and Straining by Rachel Coppedge

I have had this filter for over two years now and rarely use it; It's one of those kitchen tools that's good to have with you when you need it. When I first used it to drain rice, the strainer was discolored and had small dark spots on it. Today I tried cleaning the screen with a mild solution of chlorine bleach and water, which works very well for my small stainless steel screen filters. This attempt completely destroyed this strainer, a piece of rust filled my dishes and the whole strainer was rusted. I will never buy this brand again! Made in China with inferior materials.
