I was willing to give this watch 5 stars for being a basic fitness watch but it doesn't show the correct date. It synchronizes the time, but always one day ahead. This makes it useless as a fitness tracker or even as a watch. --edit-- let me clarify a bit more. It's possible to turn off time sync, but it seems pointless to do so. There are no settings for the time zone. Otherwise a watch would be nice to have. It has a good screen, fits well, and the app isn't overly intrusive but allows you to quickly view stats. If you don't want that, you don't even have to look at the clock. Timex couldn't fix the errors and their app is out of date. I'm guessing it's not Timex at all, it's a holding company just allowing someone to make a quick buck off their reputation. The active version works at least, but has its drawbacks, which I will discuss in another review. I really wanted it to be good, but I can't excuse a company with a reputable history of precision watches for being so wrong.
