I usually wear 8.5 but I have the same shoes in 9, for some reason they feel a bit tight, they can loosen a bit over time. The most comfortable shoe I own, the memory foam offers good cushioning. The upper is a dense fabric material (not stiff like most athletic shoes) which makes it softer around the foot and I've worn my latest shoe in rain, snow and ice without water. Best for walking and running. I don't usually run, so I can't comment on that.
