not bad for cheap mechanics

how inexpensive mechanical watches go, Invicta is probably as good as it gets if you want to avoid Seiko's pretty vanilla offerings. . . Presumably, Invicta uses Japanese [Seiko?] mechanical movements, which are way ahead of the evil Chinese movements commonly used in cheap mechanical watches. . . The watch is attractive - built to mimic a Rolex Submariner - and works well [at least for now] - but if you look closely at the finish you'll see that it's not particularly well made, the level of craftsmanship - presumably made in China, where the movements are built into the body - quite adequate. . . but for less than $100 an adequate watch is fine – however, if you want a really well-made and inexpensive mechanical watch, any Seiko 5 series available on Amazon would probably be your best bet [and I would put it on definitely try avoid most of the other cheap mechanical watches that amazon offers]
