I'm an impatient artist and craftsman so I researched crimp terminals at the hardware store while waiting for this one. This was pretty unfortunate because the tips in the store looked like a diamond crimp and I think I needed tennis racket sized crimps to make it work. It arrived the same night and I winced and felt like Superman because of the tips included. Tried it from the hardware store, unfortunately without success. My tiny brain tells me these bushings can be made from aluminum of varying toughness. The tips provided are strong enough and really work for my purposes. The question is where can I get more if they run out (or tell me what they are)? I already know that the hardware store has the wrong cable lugs for these crimping machines. I love crimpers and tips 😃
