I have upgraded to a current model modem and decided to try this repair as I don't need a $150+ upgraded router. This router arrived well packaged and appears to be completely unused. The signal strength is more than sufficient for my apartment. There are tons of customizable options; more than I have to deal with. A big plus is the presence of USB 2 and USB 3 connectors right in the modem for connecting a drive. There is also a VPN option. As long as this router lasts, I think it's a really good buy.
