Recommended by our dentist with noticeable results after several months of use. Toothpaste is very abrasive and promotes gum disease if you brush too hard, but this gel doesn't. The dentist said my teeth are very clean and my gums look like they are regenerating. I ran out of gel and used regular toothpaste and noticed how abrasive regular toothpaste is. I reordered the gel but it's very expensive ($14 or $15 a tube vs $11 last time) but cheaper than gum surgery. After purchase, CariFree sent me instructions: Just need a pea-sized amount, rinse first, then brush, do not eat or drink for 30-60 minutes after brushing (I brush before bed and first thing in the morning) Good thing!
