I needed to wirelessly transmit 3.5mm audio about 125 feet. Worse, the 3.5mm output jack was on the back and under the table, completely shielded from line of sight. These devices still worked. I popped in a 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter, plugged it in, turned on both the transmitter and receiver and got such a good signal that I don't hear any artifacts, buzzing or hiss at all, it sounds crisp like a normal wired signal. I can't ask for more.
