I LOVE this little powerful light! Being a professional photographer leads to many trends, e.g. the actioncam itself. The waterproof Lightdow is a great product that comes in very handy when attached to a camera in your bag. No, I'm not ready and I don't want to get rid of my Nikons, but they don't fit in my bag either. They don't go diving either. The camera is handy and far superior to a cell phone. At the same time, the light expands the possible uses, especially at night and in other poor lighting conditions. I find the light patterns flat even when the subject is more than 7 feet (or more) from the lens. I'll be filming and posting some of my own lighting mockups in a week or so, but overall this light is great! I admit that the battery is weak and difficult to position. It uses standard "action camera" batteries, which is very important to me as it expands the possibilities of working in the field. Press the button once to turn it on, twice to dim it a notch, a third time to turn the flash on and off (don't get why?), and turn it off a fourth time. There is a mini USB socket in the lighting unit for charging the battery. (Supplied with charging cable)! The reason I only give it 4 stars is the difficulty in inserting the battery. I've already bought a second one to give away! So a clear recommendation from me!
