Review on 🎧 Focal Stellia Closed-Back Over-Ear Headphones (Cognac) – Superior Sound and Style Combination by Devon Holmes

I mainly use the Stellia with my Sony DMP-Z1 digital music player and these are my favorite closed back headphones. My favorite open back headphones are the Meze Empyrean. Before buying the Stellia I heard Focal Utopia and Focal Clear at a local dealer but found both too aggressive in the high frequencies. I could admire the detail and clarity of Utopia but not the tonality. With Stellia you get the same level of detail and clarity as Utopia but with a much more pleasing and neutral tonal balance. Looks, build quality and comfort are all you can expect for this price point. The only point of criticism is the supplied balanced cable. It's too long, quite harsh and a bit mic-ish. Regardless, the two included cables sound great. The Stellia has a fairly low impedance, making it easy to control. It sounds best with my Sony DMP-Z1 but works well with every device I've tried it with including my Sony NW-WM1A Walkman, Sony TA-ZH1ES headphone amp, OPPO Blu-ray player, Samsung tablets and Samsung phones. .
