Works very well. I was able to remove the unpleasant mint flavor from wintergreen wine to get a normal flavored wine. I've also used this on very thick wine, resulting in a smoother liquid that was easier to drink. I've used this for fine wine and somehow it made the liquid cooler (in temperature) which made the wine taste better too. spoils the taste of wine and only good wine does not change it or improve it. It is easy to use, just put it in the wine like a cork. I've heard they break easily, but I haven't broken mine, just take them out very slowly and carefully. They're also pretty easy to clean. You can't hit it, but you can run water through it after using it.
