I upgraded from the DMC-GH1 when the price of the GH2 dropped just before graduation and have been very happy with the purchase so far. Similar to the GH1 in many ways, making the transition easier. But overall performance has improved a lot in a number of ways - autofocus in particular seems to have improved a lot. Overall, low-light performance also seems to have improved. Photo quality is pretty good. And while I'm generally happy with the results of my GH1, the GH2 is a step up. My only complaint is that the shutter button is too sensitive, making it very difficult to half-press the shutter button to preview settings. accidentally not photographed.
