Needs a AC plug, but pretty good otherwise.
This unit replaced a different 12V Portable Air Compressor that I have had for many many years. My former unit's AC plug went out and had to use the (secondary) cigarette lighter port (male) plug in the truck. Typically a cigarette lighter extension cord is needed for my truck, so I bought one, too. Just used it once, and it worked just fine. Time will tell if it's quality is better than the one it replaced. It is lighter than my previous unit, and just as easy to use as my previous unit. Sure wish it had a AC plug to go along with a (secondary) cigarette lighter port (male) plug. Could not find a 12V Portable Air Compressor unit with both plugs (offered on Walmart).
