Review on Lexi 52-inch LED Ceiling Fan by Design House in Satin Nickel Finish by Joyce Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good reversible fan for saving heat and cooling, good LED lighting but no remote control, pull chains are used like the old types.

It took me some time to properly assemble this but very good ceiling fan. Place it where the old dome light used to be in the master bedroom to provide the same lighting. Actually more, because the old lamp only had one bulb, and two LEDs provide better lighting. This space is perfect for that, as an addition to the home in 1970, this space added almost 500 square feet. Unfortunately they only added heating and ventilation near the door so they didn't have to add many new ducts. I've added an internal freestanding air conditioner that vents under the picture window and also heats up. The problem is distribution, and this works well when extracting warm air from the ceiling or drawing in cold air from the floor. The freestanding heater/air conditioner has its own thermostat, so it saves money by keeping the temperature constant. Installing all the blades and assembling the block takes a bit, but the electrician said it was easy. assemble. I used the standard mount because it's a flat ceiling but I can see the value of another, my brother would need this type. I really wish it had a remote control like my other ceiling fan, but I've always gotten used to pulling strings so far. It's a beautiful, eye-catching, modern design that goes with almost anything. For a ceiling fan it's pretty quiet even at high speed, the price is a bit high but that's not a big deal. Especially recommended if you have a sloping roof or a very high vaulted ceiling. This can save a lot of money in a room with a thermostat by balancing heat or cooling.

Pros
  • 3 speed chain control for fan speed and lights
Cons
  • Expensive
