Speaking about the sound, of course, you need to understand what to compare with. The fact is that the so-called in-ear headphones do not suit me, I tried different ones, with overlays of different sizes and materials: they fall out, they press, they need to be corrected, my ears start to hurt, etc. etc. The standard iPhone headphones fit perfectly in shape (once Sony had a similar one), they do their job, but first of all, these are wires, and secondly, they have a dry and harsh sound. In contrast, airpods sound much richer and softer. The effect is achieved, it seems to me, due to the presence of some kind of bass. Detailing is on a completely different level, no porridge from the tools. And the sound and connection is also a bit of magic from Apple, in this case - its own chip in the headphones = pairing + DAC, configured accordingly. The volume reserve is acceptable so much that it practically did not twist to the maximum. To the headphones as a headset - no complaints. I don’t attribute the lack of wireless charging to disadvantages, for 1000 (or cheaper from a well-known site) those who wish can purchase a case for their native case with this function. Dust on the bow between the case and the cover does appear, but the minus is not significant. So. If you are not an audiophile, but you just need to get rid of the wires, and for some reason in-ear headphones are not suitable, then airpods, when used with apple technology, can solve this problem, while giving out quite a pleasant sound.
