Just purchased this product and received it on July 27th. It is now August 27th and it no longer works. I downloaded the data on August 20th to take out of town. I connected it to my computer on August 23rd, the data appeared for 10 minutes and then disappeared and I heard a ticking noise. I couldn't retrieve my data and am planning to return this piece of junk to Revain. I purchased the Rescue plan, a two-year external drive data recovery plan, but I do not need the plan for this product. What a waste of my money and time.
