The dress was beautiful and didn't fall around the hips like some dresses. The material was soft and not heavy, so you could wear it on a cool day that turned warm (Texas). I've reached my knees and I'm 5x6. Got lots of compliments so plan to buy other colors. Already ordered white with short sleeves.
