This is a superb razor. Living in Asia I know they are famous for their brass and this razor is amazing. It's the heaviest in my collection, with good knurling and a nice length. I like my Merkur 34C but I prefer the longer grip. This one is spot on. This is significant. I can't imagine ever shaving with disposable plastic razors. I mixed pre shave oil, red proraso in a bowl, used astra blade and did two passes. A little Nivea later. No cuts or irritation but I did notice that when shaving it was much, much louder than my soft razors, a sign of an aggressive razor but it felt like a smooth shave. There are no brandings, which is a shame. I think Leimiga should list how aggressive it is; I rate it as moderate but very safe for beginners unfamiliar with DE wet shaving. Use a light touch, let the razor do its job. I will definitely put it on rotation.
