I ordered this as I'm just getting into my switch which I've had for 6 months. I didn't want to buy ANOTHER controller in addition to our controllers for PS2, PS3, PS4 N64, existing Joycons, Xbox One and Nimbus for Apple TV and iPad. Another charger just wasn't worth it. The HD Rumble works as well or even better than the Joy Cons. Obviously amibos don't work but I don't use them so nbd for met tried to set it up "by myself" and failed in about 5 minutes before I went to their website and downloaded the instructions. Guides are generally useless but use this one, it's very clear and has good photos to help you. Some users complain that the HDMI and USB cables are too wide for the docking station. I am using an HDMI cable made and sold by Apple for the Apple TV and it is the PERFECT width, everything fits snugly but without constraint. Controller after approx. 3 minutes. God I love this thing. It also comes with a regular USB cable, which is generally just useful. Make sure to turn on the wired controller as instructed on the sticker and you should be good to go. Highly recommended. I wish I had a few of these and am wondering if they would work with a USB hub.
