Review on 🚰 25 Pack Express Water Activated Carbon Block ACB Replacement Water Filter - 5 Micron, 10 inch Filter - Ideal for Under Sink and Reverse Osmosis Systems by Lexi Mastandrea

Contains a lot of carbon particles that need to be flushed thoroughly as directed on the label. I rinsed one of these in a 1 gallon bag before putting it in the filter housing and rinsing again, the water in the bag was quite dark. I use them for a pre-filter in a reverse osmosis system. The water goes through this filter which is a 5 micron filter and then a 0.5 or 1/2 micron filter {I think the 0.5 micron filter removes a lot of the carbon dust that comes from these filters remains}. The water then flows through the membrane into the storage tank and then through another 0.5 micron coconut charcoal filter. Coconut charcoal filters give the water a very pleasant taste and remove many harmful chemicals. I don't know if I would buy them again as they require more effort to install with flushing and what they leave behind. I believe if a person were to use it after a reverse osmosis membrane, the TDS or total dissolved solids levels would be higher due to the carbon fines left by that filter.
