After almost a year of frustration with this cable I finally threw it away. It needs to be installed correctly first, otherwise it won't work as it's unidirectional. Second, it often does not send a signal. I've used it with my computer, Xbox One and 4k DVD player. I often have to turn one of these devices on and off multiple times for that stupid cable to send a signal. Today my display for my Xbox One is covered with black dots. Changing to a different cable solved the problem. This one went in the trash and I'm ordering a replacement from another manufacturer.
