This brush is actually too light for me. Reminds me of a child's toy. I guess I've never noticed before that I like to make my hairbrushes a little heavier. However, if you like light weight and/or are buying this brush for a child, it may well suit your needs. This is a very nice brush. It has a beautiful sheen. The tips at the ends of the bristles are very soft and comfortable on the scalp. I think the brush does a pretty good job of getting tangles in too. It works slightly better on dry hair than wet hair, but it works well on wet hair too. You notice how the bristles flex as you move through your hair, which I think helps reduce tugging. This is a brush that is very easy to keep clean. It rinses off easily and the hair left in the bristles is easy to remove.
