Bought this model 950B Protape 50 Footer in February 2019 Revain. The website lists it as an upgraded version for $33 compared to the older model, which is still around $45. . I looked at both for comparison and saw no difference as the more expensive one had more bells and whistles than this one. I could only guess that they could somehow make it cheaper, but I just couldn't tell the difference between the two. They turned out to be identical. Of course, I received this tape in good old fashioned style with the two day delivery that Revain, said to be the 8th wonder of the world, is famous for. I have to say that the build quality, weight and materials are impressive to say the least. I know a lot of lumberjacks use Spencer tapes, but this tape is worth the money. Since I bought it to register on my property, it's more than enough and I'm sure. The only thing that struck me that I'd like to change and maybe I'm wrong is the tape itself and here's why, but of course it's not a deal breaker. I would still buy this film. The tape inch numbers run in the same direction on both sides of the tape, dictating that the tape measure should be worn on the left hip, with the numbers right side up and the recorder running left to right down. Magazine. When worn on the right hip, the numbers on the back of the band are reversed. If this band were numbered on one side of the band in one direction and on the back of the band in the opposite direction, combined with an additional triangular hook over the one already present, a double carabiner could be purchased to attach. and then place the tape on your right thigh, work from right to left. The only other modification that would be required for this would be to rotate the end of the hook 360 degrees, which would be easy to do, also allowing for left or right hip use. Overall, I am convinced of this device. And it's made in good old America. Try to find something that isn't made in China. I would 100% recommend buying this tape. Much luck
