The frame is very cute and at a great price especially as a gift. It's very strong and heavy but I can see how it will break if dropped. Several reviewers said their watch arrived broken. Luckily not mine! (But if that were the case, I have no doubt that Amazon customer service would have refunded my money.) What annoys me, and why I deducted a star, is that the frame size is listed as 3.5 x 5 inches . The actual frame window is only 2.8 x 4.25. Normally the window size is slightly smaller than the specified size, but this big difference should be taken into account. I bought this for a cross stitch project and need to repeat the cross stitch in a smaller size, but it's also a testament to the frame because I love it so much I'm ready to do a whole new cross stitch!
