This is a simple and very effective cocktail shaker/mixer. has all the tools you could possibly need and nothing leaks. Easy to clean. I've used it multiple times on three different days and it works great every time. I've made classic martinis (with shakes, of course) and margaritas, and used the pestle to mash up some blueberries to make a tart berry martini. although I would have preferred the larger size (1 oz and 2 oz). So I have to pour more shots this way, but it still helps to accurately measure the ratio of drinks, much better results than just by eye (which I used to do). I haven't fiddled with a mixing spoon or pour spout yet (although to be honest I have to use a pour spout, I just keep forgetting to try). Stainless steel seems to be what it should be and although I haven't had it in a full week I see no sign of rust - it cleans perfectly. The most important thing is that it will not leak when shaken vigorously! I've noticed that after I've poured my drinks, if I don't close the shaker properly (or put the lid on), sometimes the little lid or even the top half pops off as soon as I walk away. presumably due to the temperature difference between a very cold shaker and the much higher ambient temperature in my room. But when I reassemble it with normal pressure, it doesn't seem to want to burst even with a rapid change in temperature. And it *definitely* helps my drinks get *very* cold! Overall a great shaker and I love making cocktails with it!
