I'm totally blind! I picked these up being I initially had the 3 pack and like them but the 3 pack couldn't handle more. The power supply sticks out of the wall a ways and the cord comes out of the side of it. I don't like the power cord as much as what is in the 3 set. I swapped out the cord from the 3 set to this one being it can power 6 lights. I used the same dimmer swich that came with the 3 lights being the dimmer is the same. I basically used 3 lights out of this set and added them to the existing lights I already had. Now I have a string of lights 6 foot long on the underside of the cabinet about the counter top in my kitches. Granted does me no good! But people who have sene it says it really lights up the counter great! They also ask if I did it myself being it really lucks good! I used the magnets and some iron plates I got at the hardware store along with some velcro. Stuck the velcro up first and then put the other side of the velcro on the iron plates and stuck them together. Then put the lights up. I used the small connectors to join the lights together. I didn't need the extra wire joiners that came with them. I also used Veelcro on the back on the dimmer switch to hold it to the underside of the cabnet along with some small wire clips to hold the wire up coming from the power supply and from the dimmer switch to the lights.So really nothing is viewable unless you get down at counter level and look up at the bottom of the cabnet. Most people are looking down at the counter.What can I say it is well lighted now!To bad that there isn't a Zigbee version that I could use with the Echo's 2nd generation plus build in hub taht I could then tell if to turn on/off and change the brightneess level by voice.
