The sound is good, deep bass for a small speaker, 3 times more bass than the classic jam, not so loud. The jam is definitely louder but it needs something stronger, I dropped it out of the spotter window and it's not even a scratch just a scuff. The battery lasts about 6-8 hours of continuous gaming at full volume. I've had this speaker for 2 weeks now, replaced the classic Hdmx jam after the charging connector broke, the quality is excellent, the flashlight is "good", not great, but I'm a yard observer, and not every day but from time to time I need a flashlight and now I have it and it's not an extra gear to carry to work. I would recommend it to anyone for outdoors and BBQ.
