We had a similar set and our dog ate one. Pur's daughter really liked them so we bought this set as to be honest they were a bit cheaper. They are generally decent. They go together very easily. Our daughter assembled it in about 30 seconds and she is 7 years old. Yes, you need to be sure that the child will not assemble and break everything, but they are not that fragile. Just use common sense. and coaching. I hate that it's foam. but since they see a lot of non-electronic games, we go for it. We don't play video games at all. We play outside and it's quite fun. You get more air than you would normally expect.
