Overheating with damage
Unfortunately, we were unable to test this device for some time due to illness. As soon as we got a chance to try it, after a few uses it overheated and melted the plastic lid, setting the corn on fire and blowing smoke into the kitchen. I turned it off before it caught fire. We'll have to "eat" the cost as we can't return it now. Be sure to test it before you can. He's cute and compact.
