So these Arctic fans seem to be the new craze of the online tech review community, and for good reason: They're quiet, have great airflow and static pressure, but are relatively affordable compared to the Noctua. There is one caveat, this is an annoying bearing squeak in the 900-1000 rpm range. This is a very high-pitched hum with a piercing resonance, as there is no better description. Pass this area or stay below it and there will be no sound, but once you get into this area you will definitely hear them. Check out Optimum Tech's YT test comparing Arctic's 120mm fans and you'll see what I mean. But my fans never get that high when I'm not playing, and I use headphones for that and still can't hear my computer. In any case, they're quieter than the booming hum of the Noctua NF-A14 and just as good, so I'll keep them to myself and maybe buy more. Heck, they're cooler and quieter than just about every other 140mm fan on the market that costs twice as much *cough* Corsair *cough* Coolermaster.
