Review on Speaker Base Pad by Brian Healy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Subtle spiked base is best for car audio

They are solid metal. The glossy surface attracts fingerprints. Wipe it clean and it looks very nice. One thing that worries me is the indentation of the cleat that goes through the bottom of the last. There is a hole at the bottom of the dimple. The narrow, sharp spikes will almost certainly come out of the hole and damage the wooden floor. Be sure to! Insulation boards should not have any open recesses at the bottom. I bought these knowingly because the spikes I put in these pads are a bit rounded on the ends and don't go through holes. This is how they work for me.

Pros
  • Suitable for speakers, amplifiers, CD DVD players, turntables, chassis, instruments etc.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
