Review on Kids Sleeveless Embroidered Princess Pageant Dress Prom Ball Gown by Rachel Cook

Good buy for the price

Sizing: my daughter is 46” tall and weighs 42lbs, she normally wears a size 6 in most clothes. Bought the 130 size and it fits her well with some room to grow. Skirt reaches the floor with approximately an extra 1 1/2 to 2 inches of fabric dragging (plenty enough to account for a petticoat and dress shoes. Quality: I would equate the quality of the dress to a Halloween costume. There were several loose threads that I had to pull off, and the fabric is pretty thin. Definitely needs a slip to keep her legs from showing through the fabric. The flowers stitched on the bodice are pretty flimsy, but the nice job done on the tulle for the upper part of the skirt makes up for that. Color: I ordered the dark pink dress, and the actual color is slightly lighter in person than on screen. Not enough of a difference for me to complain about though. Overall: she is thrilled, so I am happy. Although I’m not optimistic this dress would withstand much more than playing dress up at home.

Pros
  • The dress is comfortable enough for extended wear
Cons
  • The dress may be too formal or uncomfortable for younger children who enjoy running and playing.
