GOPRO 8 Connection Instructions - Turn on the "Record " button on the stabilizer

Bought this stabilizer for my GoPro 8 camera. Of course, the camera itself can provide a fair amount of stabilization, but I still need to do some additional suspension tricks. I'm still figuring out how this all works, maybe the review will be updated in a few weeks of testing, but for now I want to share my experience of connecting the gimbal to my GoPro 8. So let's start in order: 1. GoPro8 mount. It is different. Not fast at all, but it works. I recommend sticking a soft strip on the metal connector to avoid scratching the camera.2. The use of a gimbal. It required some scary permissions on my phone, but if you're ok with that, the connection is very quick and easy. I immediately found new firmware (several updates) and updated it for the gimbal. Nothing special in the features of the application, except two points: a) the ability to create waypoints on the gimbal b) connect the gimbal and the camera to activate the "record button” function.3. Connecting GoPro8 to the stabilizer. There are a few issues I've encountered. a) GoPro8 camera is not mentioned in the list of supported GoPros - fixed by updating the application; b) I can't find the GoPro Wifi network - this is the hardest part. Firstly, switch your GoPro camera to 2.4GHz, secondly, open the native GoPro app and connect your camera to it, you should see a "live" image from the camera. Now you might find that the phone's WiFi has actually been replaced by a GoPro (it's no longer hidden). My phone supports split screen (Pixel 3a, Android). I left the official GoPro app as the first app and the gimbal app as the second. Make sure the camera is connected and you can see the "Live" image, reconnect if necessary. The gimbal app can now see and connect to the GoPro 8 WiFi. From now on, the "Record" button will work. After that you can close everything on your phone, it will work. The connection is there when you restart the gimbal, but fails when you restart the camera. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy.
