I installed this on a 2001 Honda Civic LX 4 door auto adjuster. I installed this in 15 minutes and only needed a socket wrench. The worst thing about any setup is knowing how to get in without damaging anything. Well I knew I had to remove the inner triangular plastic cover but wasn't sure how to do it. As it turns out, there's a black hook clip in the lower left corner and a metal clip in the upper right corner next to the electrical connector. I tried to figure it out for several minutes, but to no avail. Eventually I ripped it off and the top connector broke. No metal clip but plastic connected to a metal clip. After turning it off, the installation took 5 minutes. I was able to put the panel back on but of course it needs to be replaced as I don't think it will last as long with the door opening and closing.
