Review on πŸ‘Ά Baby Trend EZ Flex Loc Infant Car Seat, Carbon: Ensuring Safety and Convenience for Your Baby by Adam Bates

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fur - not yet impressed

Disadvantages: - There are NO pads covering the straps on the child's neck. My newborn would come out and say it right away, but it doesn't look comfortable. The underfoot buckles, which snap into the seat belts between the legs, are awkward to use. I might get used to it after a while, but you need to connect the left and right sides and then snap them both into the bottom buckle at the same time. You can't do that with one hand. Seems to be a lot of design. - I have a mid-size SUV and the base DOESN'T FEEL RELIABLE AT ALL. This is for my third child so I know a thing or two about installing car seats. Using very large clips to attach to the latch system works quite well. I can secure the base but there is no way to secure the front of the base. He flops (rises) like a fish out of water. This has long been a design flaw in I.G rear-facing car seats, but this one seems to be worse than others I've used. - There is no headrest for babies. My wife and I didn't feel like we needed to hold the baby comfortably or securely on the first trip home from the hospital. I know newborns don't have muscles to control head movement, but there doesn't seem to be enough neck and head support for a 7 pound newborn. Pros: - Great price - Good colors - It fits in our same brand stroller (which was the main goal of buying this stroller). - Narrow for installation in tight spaces
