The first thing that confused me about these socks was the calf size. I figured that the size of the calf of the sock would change depending on the size of the sock. However, please note that when purchasing these socks, you should choose the size for your foot and ensure that the calf length does not exceed 18 inches at the widest point. I'm 18 and can barely put these socks on. If they were a little bigger I wouldn't be able to wear them. Otherwise good quality socks with good compression for those with a big end. If you have small ankles and calf muscles you may not get much compression from them. In addition, these are thick socks around the feet. If you don't like thick, comfortable socks, this isn't for you.
