I've spent several hours trying to figure out which flat iron is best and why. I watched a few videos on You Tube and it all came down to this brand and another. I wasn't sure if I should go for this gold or platinum brand, but after doing some research and considering my hair type, which is naturally wavy and thin, I settled on gold. I was so excited when it arrived that I pocketed it and got started right away. I am so happy with this purchase! I divided my hair into 3 sections and it took less than ten minutes to straighten my hair. I thought I would have to repeat this several times like I do with my cheater, but no! It makes my hair smooth and shiny without tugging or tugging on my hair. It doesn't cook my hair. Perfect. Worth spending more on as I will be using it daily and don't want to skimp on my hair. I need to see this every day just like everyone else so it's a great investment!
