Easy assembly. Remember that if you are new to a telescope and things don't look right from the start, more often than not the problem is with the user and not the telescope. Yesterday I took my first picture of the moon with this telescope and I love it! was it perfect no But hey, it's moving at 3,000mph so I've got a decent picture. I particularly like the direct view through the viewfinder and spotting scope. The best Christmas present I've had in years! This will happen on every hike for years to come!
