For the price, this monitor arm is a good choice. In my case, I had a 32-inch monitor whose stand literally took up 20% of my desk. So in *MY* case, I didn't really want a full range of arm motion, just taking the base off my desk so I could work. It worked fine for my purpose. If you expect quick adjustments up/down, incline/elevation, this product probably isn't for you. Yes, you can do all of those things, but with the exception of rocking and unfolding, you'll probably have to take out the toolbox to make adjustments. (Loosen, adjust, tighten) But what do you expect at this price point? I am happy with this purchase as it meets my needs at an affordable price. In short, get to know your needs and define your expectations.
